Working alongside RAF and Civilian contractors as a Project Manager to deliver the renovation of an existing hangar to modern standards, design and build of a new ATCT and Fire Section. Providing overall governance and assurance to Senior Military officers through work with the Project Management Office as a scheduler, assisting to deliver Programme level milestones across More than 8 projects. NEC3 & 4 Project Manager accredited, Management of Risk, Foundation and Practitioner qualified.

Ttf Raf Coningsby

Working alongside BAE Systems delivering an intensive 18 week Avionics trade specific course for technicians to work on multiple systems on Typhoon aircraft. Currently designing and developing a mentoring phase where students will get four weeks hands on aircraft experience prior to Squadron operations. The role includes managing assets, staff, students and ground test equipment over a dual shift pattern without conflict to the Typhoon OCU as we utilise their aircraft. All training to relevant MAA, City and Guilds and RAF Standards.

Assessing and prioritising tasks, maintaining legal requirements within CAA and MAA regulatory articles and supervising up to 16 Avionics technicians.

Lossiemouth

Aiding the set up a new Squadron to operate the highly advanced Typhoon aircraft. Responsibilities include new infrastructure, procurement and demanding of new equipment ranging from brooms and shovels through to computer suites, writing a new order book comprising of Terms of reference and work instructions. This will allow the Squadron to stand up and operate from day one so all tasks have to be completed to a tight deadline. Post set up I will attend a 17 week course to gain knowledge on the Avionics suite on the most advanced aircraft the Air Force currently flies.

Over 10 years experience on Tornado GR4 Operational Conversion Unit maintaining all aspects of aircraft and component documentation. Tasks included quality checking of maintenance work orders ( at the Squadrons peak we processed over 44,000 job cards a year), consolidating log cards and preventing components from exceeding their life, complying and advising management of MAA RA's, and Tech instructions. Able to interrogate both paper and computer based records and maintaining Air Worthiness and Flight Safety and using various feedback methods to the CAMO.

Raf Kinloss

Second line off aircraft fault diagnosis and rectification on both analogue and digital systems, including Tactical displays, Air Data Computers and Magnetic Anomoly Detection. All rectification down to component level. General tasks including prioritising own workload, supervising and teaching new members to the section.

City And Guilds Basic Engineering, Basic Avionics (Flight Systems, Radar, Communications)

Basic 9 month course in electrical principles, computing and aircraft handling. Tasks included learning different types of test equipment.

School basics in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, English passed later when reset during evening class.
