As a member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team, I worked alongside senior management providing decision support and financial insight for Greggs national supply chain. I lead a team of qualified accountants across 12 sites in the UK providing financial guidance locally as well as a team of analysts based in Head Office. In my role as Finance Lead for several restructuring projects (up to £100m), I was responsible for investment appraisal, consequent impact on ROCE and achieving targets in line with Company strategy.

As part of a major restructuring programme within Greggs, I project managed the transition to a centralised Finance team and the implementation of a new ERP system. I lead the newly created team responsible for Financial Accounting, Reporting & Analysis, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Cash Management. This project increased the adaptability and flexibility of the team as well as improving financial control.
