I am a highly motivated individual, educated to Master’s level, with strong interpersonal skills and a keen eye for improving systems of working. My recent role as Customer Engagement Executive, working for a leading UK charity, has given me the appropriate skill set necessary to understand the day-to-day challenges faced by all large charities in the promotion of their work, and the importance of sustaining income. My current role as given me an insight into the extensive marketing practices needed, the function of CRM systems and the importance of supporter engagement - through various methods - to ensure strong relationships with donors. Working within a strong and dedicated CRM team – at times working closely with management and heads of department - I have gained insight into Marketing Selection techniques, Gift Processing, Import Management and Grants & Philanthropy. Within this role and previous education roles, I have managed projects of up to 8 months in length. Currently, above my normal duties, I have taken responsibility for a number of projects designed to improve the management of customer interactions more affectively. These projects, along with my normal day-to-day duties, require me to liaise with many different teams throughout the charity – where always the need to be clear, concise and communicate effectively is essential.
