Dr. Lee Rivers Mobley recently retired from her position as Associate Professor in Spatial Science and Health Economics at Georgia State University, in the School of Public Health, where she had been employed since July 1, 2013. She had a joint appointment in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. Her research has been funded by the National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Child Health and Development, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality. Her work focused on analysis of health care markets, cancer screening behavior, population health, socio-ecological modeling of disease behaviors and outcomes, women’s health, health disparities, spatial epidemiology, health and place, health care utilization and outcomes, behavioral health, multilevel modeling, spatial modeling, spatial econometrics, use of geographic information systems (GIS), analysis of US Census microdata, geo-spatial database development, relational database development, and web service of relational databases.
