Since 1995 have been employeed in the Information Technology department of several large oil and gas companies. This began with CNG Producing Company, a E & P subsidary of Consolidate Natural Gas, and proceeded through mergers and acquisitions to Domiinion Resoures, HighMount Exploration and Production, and finally Enervest, Ltd. During this time I principally provided techno/functional support for Oracle Financials and P2ES Energy Upstream accounting modules. This has invloved several implementations, re-implementations and upgrades. EnerVest does not currently use any of these systems, or any Oracle databases. Accordingly my employeement with them is as a transition team member and will terminate on 2/27/15. My furute plans are to take several months off and then look for temporary or contract positions related to Oracle Financial EBS and P2ES Energy upstream. I am interested in short to mid-term contracts and part time may be acceptable.My principal strengths are the fact that I am a degreed accountant with history in tax accounting. I understand the fiancial terminology and basic activities. I also have a good understanding ot GAAP requirements for Oil and Gas as well as general accounting. I experienced in the use of the front end forms and porocesses within these modules, although I consider may greater strength in the technical side.I am expirenced with many Oracle development tools such as Reports, Forms, PL/SQL, and SQL Plus. I have also used IDE tools such as SQL Navigator, Toad and SQL Developer. I have a very thorough knowledge of the underlying database model for many of the Oracle financial modules and the P2ES Joint Venture and AFE modules. I am moderately familiar with Energy Base, Revenue Accounting, and Production Administration within the Energy Upstream product.

Tax Specialist 1985-1986Started in 1985 as state tax specailist overseeing the compliance of the state and local tax requirements for CNG Producing Company, the Exploration and Production subsidary of Consolidate Natural Gas. After about five years I moved into a similar position for fderal income tax compliance. During this time many of the functions related to filing both state and federal income tax returns were automated. Programmer Analyst 1996-2000Functional and techincal support for the Accounts Receivable module of Oracle Financials and the newly relased Joint Ventuire Accouitnig module of Oracle Energy (forerunner of P2ES Energy Upsteram).Supported the initial implementation of the Oracle Energy modules for Joint Venture Accounting and AFE as well as the extensions to Oracle Financials that were required by these modules. At the time this was newly released software. CNG had been one of the four companies involved with the initial development and implementation of the software. During this time implementing companies were allowed direct access to the developers. In addition to the normal implementation tasks I spent a large amount of time in discussions with the lead developer concerning issues and possible resolutions.
