Responsible for all Security and Health & Safety aspects at Royal Crown Derby. A world class manufacturer of fine bone china tableware, giftware, paperweights and collectables exclusively made in England since 1750.Provide ‘value added’ professional and technical support and guidance at Royal Crown Derby, ensuring compliance in accordance with statutory guidelines and safe programmes of work, including but not limited to the development, implementation and management of:To ensure the working environment and working procedures are safe and risk mitigation is appropriately adopted.Provide leadership, support, training and advice on policies, procedures and processes relating to Health & Safety.Standardisation (where applicable) of health and safety processes, procedures and reporting methods.Provide health and safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, method statements and incident investigation.Ensure the company meets its compliance obligations with the various statutory legislation, carry out inspections and audits against the current health and safety practices within the company.Ensure a programme of audit is in place to provide assurance that local policies and procedures are being effectively deployed and monitored.Provide monthly reports where required for review to the Group Main Board and senior management.Work effectively with Subsidiaries, Directors and Managers to ensure a consistent approach to health, safety, security and environmental regulations are being met.
