Mr. Oldfield holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering concentrating in structural, seismic, and bridge engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.Employed as a Structural Engineer at SWBR, Mr. Oldfield is responsible for engineering design of various architectural projects - including industrial, work place, education, campus & institutional throughout New York. Responsibilities include: construction administration, structural design and modeling, calculation preparation and review of mid-rise structures in accordance with State enforced building codes, and assessment of existing structures. Codes Mr. Oldfield regularly uses and has working experience with are: ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, ACI 318, ACI 350, ACI 530, and NDS. Assigned work includes use of RAM Structural System (Steel Beam & Column, Concrete, Foundation, Frame), RAM Elements, Enercalc, Tedds, spMats, Revit, AutoCAD, MathCAD and hand calculations.Other work performed and experience by Mr. Oldfield includes: Pipe Stress Analysis, ANSYS, blast and missile analysis and design, and seismic design, qualification and evaluation of mechanical and electrical equipment.Mr. Oldfield is a licensed Engineer in The State of New York.
