Supports the creation and delivery of focus’ internal and external Training Plans.Monitors the Training Budget, checks and processes invoices for payment, identifies and reports on predicted under or over spends with recommendations and solutions.Identifies key learning needs for social workers and business services staff within Adult Services by keeping abreast of best practice and legislative changes in social work and/or accreditation requirements and keeps key personnel apprised of any associated learning & development requirements.Co-ordinates apprenticeships opportunities and manages the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).Sources, co-ordinates, markets and monitors training events (mandatory and non-mandatory) for focus staff, providers and other partners (where appropriate); monitors attendance; analyses customer feedback and, where appropriate, raises charges for non-attendance or attendance by external partiesIdentifies need for, and sources, core skills training for social work and non-social work staff which addresses concerns or gaps identified via supervision, complaints, investigations, inspections etc. and ensures that CPD opportunities are realised.Maintains and supports development/enhancements to bespoke training and development database. Acts as e-Learning Administrator, including ESR updates and Webinars, attending, as necessary, regional meetings.Provides interface with Universities with regard to Student Placements.Supports the Practice Educator network in focus to ensure that high quality learning experiences are delivered to students
