In this role, I am responsible for the administration ofhundreds of servers both physical and virtual that host a wide array ofapplications including servers that host Active Directory, DNS, DHCP,MSSQL applications, Exchange 2007/2010, BlackberryEnterprise Server, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Cisco UCCX, SFTPservices, file shares, Symantec Brightmail spam filtering, e-mailarchiving services, backup/patch services, internal IIS based webservices, network monitoring software and a variety of development andinfrastructure related machines. I am also the primary point of contactfor anything pertaining to the corporate network including its overalluptime. I personally manage and administrate over a dozen SonicWallfirewall appliances at six different international sites as well asother Cisco related network appliances that facilitate Internet, VPN, wireless andVoIP services. In this position, I work extensively in our VMWare ESXand VMWare VSphere environments. Since we first implemented a helpdeskticketing system in March 2010 I have been assigned and resolved well over 1,000 individual tickets for our user base of over 600 employees. Ialso participated heavily in SOX compliance and Massachusetts dataprivacy compliance initiatives in the time leading up to the company's IPO.

In this role, I was responsible for administrating approximately 20Windows 2003 and Linux based servers that housed a wide variety ofaccounting, payroll and database applications (MSSQL), the company'sinternal Intranet web server as well as an Active Directory and Exchangeinfrastructure in a company with approximately 350 employees. I was alsoresponsible for the management and security of the company's entirenetwork infrastructure including the administration of multipleSonicWall firewall appliances, network switches, Cisco wireless accesspoints, DHCP services, centralized anti-virus management and othernetwork devices. I also played a key role in a complete networkinfrastructure overhaul and Active Directory implementation that vastlyimproved the company's network efficiency and saved them thousands ofdollars in recurring expenditures. I was also one of three managersresponsible for overseeing an IT staff of eight people that included aday and night shift help desk and two programmers.

In this role, I was specifically responsible for managing one half ofthe company Information Technology department with one direct report.Daily responsibilities included the management and support of over 150Windows 2000 and Windows XP desktops and laptops, 10 Avaya IP OfficeVoIP phone systems, 10 warehouse paging systems, 15 SonicWall firewallappliances, 20+ wireless access points, all LAN/WAN/VPN connectivitybetween 10 company branches and assorted remote offices, all networkswitches/hubs, over 30 assorted servers including multiple domaincontrollers, DNS, DHCP and file servers as well as standalone Exchange2003, IIS 6.0, MSSQL and Avaya Voice Mail Pro servers, all network/standalone printers, copiers, faxes and other miscellaneous equipment.Additional responsibilities included managing nightly tape backups,managing/creating login scripts, roaming profiles, home userdirectories, network shares, group policy implementation, desktop patchand anti-virus deployments, drafting yearly capital expenditurerecommendations, software license management and inventory asset management.

In this role I was responsible for the management, maintenance, securityand administration of all aspects of Information Technology in anorganization consisting of over 1,000 people and over 100 Windows 2000and Windows XP based computers. Specific tasks included extensive enduser support, hardware, software, phone, copier, wireless device andprinter troubleshooting, configuring Exchange e-mail accounts, LAN/WANmaintenance, configuring TCP/IP, printer and system deployment,enforcing security and usage policies, acquiring new IT equipment,accountability of equipment and providing new system integrationproposals to upper management. I was also solely responsible for movingthe entire military unit from a Windows NT to Windows 2003 serverinfrastructure.
