Lee has led Digital Construction and Design Management at Morgan Sindall Construction since 2016. Lee is responsible for the Digital Construction vision, strategy and strategic implementation plan. Lee provides functional leadership to over 120 staff in Design Management and Digital Construction. In addition, Lee chairs the Building Safety working group within Morgan Sindall Construction and responsible for controls to meet legislation requirements and managing risk to the business. Lee has overseen the delivery of 84 BIM projects since 2018 with a combined value exceeding £1.4bn. He has led the design on over £1bn worth of public sector projects and developed a component led education solution, MySchool. Due to Lee’s knowledge and experience the MySchool solution removes the expense and uncertainty associated with traditional design-and-build projects.Lee was previously seconded into the National Association of Construction Frameworks (NACF) client group and commissioned an independent researcher to understand clients description/requirements of Digital Construction, including benefits, obstacles, client segmentation, tools available and requests. The research created valuable insights to enable Lee to identify the next steps for the NACF, their Digital Construction strategy and led a Facilities Management working group to create a digital Asset Information Requirements toolkit. Lee has worked with Scape Group (a public sector procurement framework) to create their information management roadmap, deployment of Autodesk Construction Cloud in Arc Partnership and established information management resources to achieve IS0 19650-2 certification.
