Commanded and led a mobile workshop organisation of around 100 tradesmen, including their training, welfare, discipline and career management issues, on operations and in the home base. Delivered a guaranteed quality of competent task delivery at all levels. Established the battalion in Canada in order to activate the lean rehabilitation of over 1000 vehicles ready for the training season. Prepared and then deployed the Company to Canada, providing equipment support to the battle group as it exercised in a remote training area. Prepared and then deployed the Company to Afghanistan for a 6 month tour of duty.

Developed training policies applicable to officers and soldiers serving in REME. Evaluated and implemented the effects of external policy decisions, coordinating subsequent implementation. Tackled stand-alone projects including a review of the artificer trade groups. Programme managed the reviews of all other trade groups.
