Responsible for managing the finance function for the main UK trading business in Lucy Electric. Lucy Electric UK provides products and solutions for power distribution networks in the UK and some export markets. Responsibilities include preparation of monthly management accounts to internal deadlines with comprehensive analysis, acting as a key business partner for the UK General Manager, preparation and presentation of annual budgets, management of finance team, review of commercial contracts, management of working capital, annual statutory compliance and investment appraisals.

Financial management role involved in R&D area of Lucy Electric which focuses on providing profitable sustainable products. Duties include production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, investment appraisal, expense analysis, managing accounts assistant, R&D claims and compliance work. Business partnering is also an important aspect of this role, providing the executive team with timely, accurate and clear information in order to aid business decision making.

I was also required to manage a small portfolio of audit clients and some non audit outsourcing assignments.
