Correlation involved the generation of Isometrics from S3D without any manual entry and the population of data in SPI for instrument data sheets with all the data originating from SPPID via SPF.Generation of SmartPlant Visual Basic application to auto generate test types and pressures, paint codes, criticality ratings and auto generated notes on Line lists. Creation of paint & insulation requirement MTO for estimating using VB6. The utility created would use the estimated pipe length in PDS match the same  pipe line in SPPID and use the relevant attributes stored  in SPPID to generate the required amounts of paint & insulation for purchasing.Created and implemented a rule based SPPID tool to automatically tag valves and SP items. The program also finds valves which are out of spec, duplicated components (line numbers, piping components) and graphically highlights these items on the P&ID.
