As part of the twelve strong architectural/technical estimating team, working under the Contracts Manager and reporting to the Contracts Director, I am the initial contact for Private Customers, Architects, Landscapers, Builders Merchants and Construction Companies with the responsibility for producing quotes from a wide variety of enquiries, dealing with anything from small one-off quotes to larger quotes worth in excess of £1m for major companies. The role involves converting orders and preparing detailed drawings for customer approval, and liaising with architects, customers and the Haddonstone production department to progress the order through to manufacturing.

Furthermore daily communications with project sales executivies on the aforementioned, communicating with suppliers daily to resolve complaints and arrange site visits, arranging delivery times etc. The position included weekly training on either bedrooms, kitchens and conservatories on own site or at suppliers.

Duties included answering the telephone, assisting customers when purchasing DIY products, dealing with complaints, cleaning and arranging stock, pricing, promotions and line controls, order forms, arranging stock room, delivering to customers, dealing with 'goods in' and appropriate paperwork, till operation.
