In this position, I investigate and research cash shortages that occur in the locations within Kings Island. I work for both the resale and food service departments incorporating nearly 100 sites. The investigation and research includes both computer research as well as on site investigation. This position also includes training and retraining associates on proper cash handling procedures and use of computerized Point of Sale equipment. Another part of my job is to assist Park Security and Police with surveilance and apprehension of associates suspected of defrauding the company of product and money.

I started as an Assistant Manager in a number of different stores. I joined the POS Installation and Training Team traveling from store to store holding a week of training classes the week prior to the intstallation of this new equipment. I spent the next week making certain the equipment was working properly and correction any training issues that might have appeared with the store personnel. I was then one of 2 chosen to start up the POS Help Desk. I developed, edited and presented a series of training classes for newly hired store managers giving them the basic understanding of both the actual order entry functions as well as the management fuctions of the system. This training series was eventually instituted into the managers' normal 9 week training series. I wrote a weekly operations bulletin that was distributed to all stores and corportate staff outlining any new procedures or clarifying any areas that there was concern with.
