Currently project managing an ERP implementation programme, delivering Syspro to the business.Developing and maintaining detailed project plans in line with customer required deliverables from bid/contract award to development through manufacturing to despatch and within the field environment if necessary.Responsible for monitoring and tracking all aspects of project progress and performance to the Programme Manager and identifying, assessing, monitoring and providing mitigation when necessary for all risks and issues relevant to the project.Work with and liaise with the Business Development team in order to provide accurate project cost estimates and contribute to defining user requirements for all bespoke Microwave COFDM surveillance systems.Conducting monthly project status meetings and weekly production meetings and ensuring that the project reviews are communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

As a member of the Customer support team the main role was to carry out site surveys, installation and system support for all overseas projects. This included providing support to the Business development team in the manner of conducting demonstration of equipment and systems to potential customers. We was also responsible for providing the end users with technical training and producing technical documentation when required to do so. Occasionally support would be given to the Production/Test manager with regards to carrying out assembly/repair work or system testing within the laboratory.

Working within the Special Projects department to provide specialist RF broadcast solutions and support. This included designing and commissioning of bespoke RF COFDM transmission and receive systems equipment to be used in various broadcast, military and public service applications. Also responsible for the installation of the systems on site, usually abroad. This included producing various technical documentation such as installation manuals, bespoke operator/user guides and producing the Factory acceptance and carrying out the Site Acceptance tests for each project.

• Responsible for the co-ordination and control of all communications equipment within 16 Air Assault Bde Headquarters, one of the most operational units within the Army. This role involved providing both strategic and tactical level secure voice, data and mobile satellite communications. It was within this role that I received the highest accolade from the Royal Signals Institute, The Princess Mary Medal for my actions in maintaining secure communications whilst under effective enemy fire in Afghanistan. The award singles out personnel deemed to have shown the Corps in a good light.• Member of a small team responsible for managing and monitoring live operational voice nets and CCTV cameras within a Special Operations environment. In this role I was responsible for providing secure covert communications and maintaining systems. When necessary deploy into discreet locations and setup a covert rebroadcast facility in an extremely hostile environment.• Managed, co-ordinated and delivered all Communications systems during the tense transition period of the large scale deployment of British Troops to Afghanistan. As Team leader of the 4 man team we maintained stable and effective satellite communications for up to 50 staff users. My team was commended for our professionalism and steadfastness during the deployment by Senior Command.• Effective management, administration, logistics and training of up to 30 personnel under my command.• I was selected to become an Instructor at the Bowman Training and Advisory Group this involved instructing various levels of user in the principles and hardware of the BOWMAN digital communications system. The role required regular validation of training to ensure best practice and implementing new teaching practices to ensure training remained within the ever changing doctrine.
