The Story of Sim Imaging.Following an apprenticeship in the early 90’s, I honed my skills in reprographics for a further nine years, specialising in colour correction, page layout and production in both digital and litho print. In 2004, SIM 2000 Imaging Ltd began as a result of my own experience as a consumer of photographic goods following my wedding in 2003. I realised that the offer of products at the time were limited, particularly in printed albums and books. I could see the demand was there, so using my printing knowledge and experience, plus a night school diploma in bookbinding, I was able to offer the professional photography community the range of products their customers were hungry for.The company was aimed at producing high quality digitally printed photo albums for professional photographers. With investment in new machinery and as the company grew, we were able to expand the range of products to our existing customer base. Today, SIM Imaging Ltd (formally Sim2000 Imaging Ltd), showcases its beautiful ranges over two websites, a dedicated showroom and nationwide and international exhibitions. Sim Imaging Ltd employs a skilled team of 30, producing a complete range of hand-finished photographic products in their state of the art 16,000 square feet, London-based factory.
