I joined Defensor at the age of 21 after passing my electrical engineering and principle 16th edition qualification. I joined as a service engineer servicing a range of different fire alarm systems and gas suppression systems. During my 1st year at Defensor I was put on numerous panel manufacturers commissioning courses. Ranging from Gent, Notifier, Fike, Morley, Advanced and other courses such as fluorine gas courses and FIA unit 1 design and commissioning courses. After a year and a half of being at Defensor I was then involved in many building projects commisionning Hospitals, Schools, university's, Nursing homes and office blocks. Many of these I projected the fire alarm install and commission all the way to witness testing and client hand over. Working along side companies such as Mace, Waites, Dodds Group, SES and many other large construction firms.
