Currently Head of Build at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains.I am responsible for the improvement of the Final build functions via organisational development, process improvement and standardising robust methods for internally assembled components for F1 Engines. Inclusive to this role is the responsibility for co-ordinating the transport of our products to race and test events through the season. This years interests are in the works Mercedes AMG F1 team and the existing strong relationships with McLaren and Force India.More recently I was Head of Operations Development, leading change in Manufacturing engineering processes and shopfloor management systems as well as operationally delivering the evolutionary KERs system to 3 F1 race teams during 2011.Prior to this as Head of Assembly for Mercedes Benz HPE supplying the McLaren F1 team, Managing their internal engine development, race and test engine supply. Overseeing the transition from multiple workshops to one purpose built, clean room engine assembly and sub-assembly facility. During this 3 year assignment I helped transform a previous poor quality output to a 2 year 100% reliability record.
