While continuing to work for money, I am taking an idea I had in Sept 2007 and turning it into a Facebook application (Golf Buddies) and eventually a website (www.sportbuddies.org). I worked for the just over 3 years as the deputy, site manager and then the engineering manager, managing a team of 30 engineers and three separate teams for a deployed system team covering the UK and Coalition forces bases. This was a 24 hour a day, seven days a week job where flexibility and the ability to work in severe conditions were tested often.
