I received my nursing degree many years ago but soon discovered that I wanted to care for others emotionally to more of a degree than what I was doing in medical nursing. I used my RN license to run programs and provide encouragement for low income women. I decided to pursue a professional counseling degree and have worked in this capacity for 5 year. I feel called to helping women and men to navigate feelings and relationships in our complicated culture.
