Leading the ITS department and working with EMR board to transform the business through technology, enabling the business to meet overall goals of increasing passenger numbers / revenue, improve operational efficiency and ensure a safe and sustainable railway for the East Midlands. Key responsibilities • Creating and driving forward the ITS strategy, plan, technology / application roadmaps and managing day to day IT & Systems operations. • Responsible for the ITS department containing infrastructure, operations, systems, data, information security, and IT PM functions. • Working with MD, directors and heads of department to align IT direction with business requirements • Developing staff and ensuring a stable ITS organisation in place to deliver improvements alongside IT services • Maintaining system and service availability, whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the environment from cyber threats • Part of the company investment and change board, to ensure all new projects follow business strategy, including from the ITS perspective. • Responsible for creation and management of the ITS budget and delivery of projects and services within this.

Lead the IT and IS functions for Plastic Omnium (PO) across their 8 UK sites, setting technology strategy with the site operational directors and ensuring delivery of improvements and maintaining IT services which were critical to maintain PO the supply chain. Key responsibilities • Working with MD and directors to understand site operational requirements and creation of IT/IS plan. • Management, direction and support of IT infrastructure across 8 sites and for 1200 users. • Maintain availability for critical EDI and production systems in this Just In Time manufacturing environment. • Manage department of 18 staff across the service delivery, infrastructure and system support teams.

Managed the PAN-E IT infrastructure environment for Toyota in Europe, managing teams across Europe and ensuring system availability for critical sales and manufacturing processes.
