As an heavy equipment operator I intend to eventually earn a Operators ticket. In my previous jobs I have demonstrated initiative, creativity and integrity in my efforts to support my employers, and I have always had a willingness to learn and a desire to grow in the field in which I work. Although I have chosen equipment as a trade, I am a very well- rounded worker. While growing up in Campbell River BC, I was trained early in the logging industry in the operation of heavy equipment and the use of a variety of tools. More importantly, I know the meaning of hard work and always giving my best.My work with Tervita has allowed me to become very familiar with numerous job sites in the area. While I work very well in a team, I am most often called to work alone or with one other person and I am very confident handling the necessary paperwork to finish a job. I believe I am considered to be a very responsible person who is trusted to operate heavy excavators and loading equipment in a safe manner.
