Built good relationships with key stakeholders & influenced significant process change to allow focus on delivery rather than process by getting a dedicated resource to manage all onboarding & sign on activity. This helped to also improve the onboarding experience.Worked closely with the existing staff, encouraging their involvement in hackathons, opening up opportunities for training & up/re-skilling where necessary to help with incoming demand and their own personal development.Working with other CC Leads & Managers, oversaw the creation of community to spread best practice and ideas and build a social network for young data professionals. Worked with a few key projects to connect them Centre of Excellence communities & technical suppliers, this helped accelerate delivery & efficiency.

Leading a multi disciplined team of Data Scientists & Analysts, split across direct & indirect reports and multiple international locations through a significant change process to release 22,000 hours of activity from the separate CP reporting team through automation & activity reviews whilst maintaining existing responsibilities.Through indirect active management of Data Science & Analytics team, delivered $97m of validated direct & indirect savings for CP & Supply Chain through 16 projects across all classes of business.Successfully transitioned the composition of the team to enable greater focus on analytics and value delivery, working directly with the business teams to identify opportunities to, and deliver value through Analytics.Received a Special Recognition Award for revolutionized the reporting of Spend & Contract related information to the Finance community.

Moved into the Contracting & Procurement team to deliver Insights solutions for front line C&P staff across the Downstream portfolio. Multi-million dollar benefits achieved through close collaboration with GMs, global & local Category Managers & Purchasing teams to deliver business focused insights & data visualization. Spanning four distinct businesses within Downstream and different categories within those businesses covering Retail, Commercial, Manufacturing & Supply spend & process efficiency. Using SAP, SAP-Hana & local data sources through Alteryx to transform and calculate big data sets & visualize and present to the business via Tibco Spotfire.Drove change in the wider CP Information & Insights teams refocusing their delivery from basic manual reporting mindset to impactful connected insights, focused on helping frontline teams unlock value & increase effectiveness in CP.

Expanded scope to include all areas of the Global Commercial Downstream organisation in Shell from Sales & Marketing, through Supply Chain & Order to Cash activities including Credit, Marine, Aviation, Lubricants & Bitumen.Increased focus on adding even more value to our solutions and building in more attributable benefits to the use of data in the business.Project led the Downstream EVP Award winning team to develop the Additives & Packaging Category Spend Tools. Worked with IT to identify & utilise new tools which allowed the creation of a learning environment for the team and business contributors to drive our vison & user stories, the final results supported over $3Bn spend, allowing the teams to view and analyse their true spend for the first time & see initial savings of over $2m. Partnered with Finance & Supply Chain to develop and implement the Dead & At Risk Stock analysis project which generated $38M WC savings in the first 12 months. Both these projects are still actively being used 5 years later.

Manage Global MI output for Shell Downstream Global Commercial Businesses focused on Sales & Marketing, with a team of 5 direct reports & wider MI community.Managed to break a few records, the 1st deployment of BI4, 1st use of video to launch a new MI Tool, 1st combined infostream deployment, most users on a BI4 platform and to be confirmed but probably the most training sessions delivered in a year! All this done with new tools developed in an unstable environment to one of the largest groups of users we have, delivered a connected series of Dashboards & Reports to complete the Sales ""Analysis Path"" with well over 600 users & excellent feedback. Working with the business teams to provide new & innovative solutions to their Management Information requirements through the use of SAP Based solutions adopted by the company.Managed an extensive network of Users and ""Super Users"" through whom we provide the day to day support to the 1500+ end users.

Led the Design & Deployment of Global Perf Management Reporting in Global Commercial, the first consolidated high level Class & Line of Business reporting suite to support Sales & Marketing Team reporting from SAP. Work with design & technical teams to build and test web reports for delivery to Users.Manage the preparation of bookmarks and ad-hoc reporting through SAP Query Designer for niche reporting requirements outside standard scope.Design & implement change and training program, establishing networks of users and super users.Managed the GC Global MI team to deliver on-going reporting to senior leadership and finance teams across Global Commercial.
