• Responsible for managing, training, and supporting tier 1 and tier 2 team members as well as staff, faculty and students. • Technical supervisor over operations and daily functionality; including but not limited to: projects, infrastructure, and team members (10 people or more). • Meet with subordinates and supervisors to discuss progress of work, resolve problems and maintain that standards and quality of work are met.• Assist with new server implementation and configuration as well as on-going maintenance, and daily support.• Project Management (PC Deployment, Wireless Upgrade, Network Upgrade, Server Upgrade) Project Lead on multiple projects while effectively meeting deadlines and budgeting requirements. • Responding to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses and solves system hardware, software, and operator problems. ( 2000+ clients)• Testing and evaluating proposed hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing computer systems, peripherals and the network.• Assists with the implementation and maintenance of network systems (i.e. Active Directory structure, forests, and domains, trusts, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocols, Domain Name Systems, Distributed File Systems, TCP/IP, group policy objects, scripts, synchronization/replication services, and user/file administration). • Complete support tickets in a timely fashion, based on Service Level Agreements.• Collect and track all network equipment assets to provide periodic status for the purpose of providing maintenance requirements for OS upgrades, patch management and equipment refresh cycles. • Maintain network services and help to deploy new services based upon business need. Ensures general availability of all systems during production hours. • Collaborate with other IT (groups, member) and staff/faculty departments to ensure security, integrity and reliability of systems.

• Installing or assisting with installations of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises. • Responding to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses and solves system hardware, software, and operator problems.• Testing and evaluating proposed hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing computer systems, peripherals and the network.• Instructing users on the use of equipment, software, and manuals.• Replacing defective or inadequate software packages as well as troubleshoot minor hardware problems.• Leveraging remote desktop management technology and tools, or at user locations, loads specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs into computer.• Providing customer service in a professional manner while providing help desk phone support.• Troubleshooting and resolves academic lab issues relating to software and or hardware.
