  Coordinated global inventory fleet (standard equipment, open tops, flats, reefers) for all services within the Clipper Group. Determined minimum fleet requirements/distribution for maximum utilization of equipment at each port and overall per service area, based on market analysis and forecast. Analyzed container expenses at overseas ports and successfully implemented cost saving measures by streamlining operations and renegotiation of contracts with depots, feeder services, and overland carriers.  Initiated data analysis reports for repair costs per port as well as cost analysis based on specific routes, ageing and life-cycle analysis reports.  Managed all major leasing companies and finalized all contract negotiations.  Developed an in house repair manual for service repairs to the fleet and implemented it to all contracted depots; then inspected depots to determine compliance with aforementioned repair criteria (achieved 32% savings on yearly fleet repair).Controlled all aspects of vessel operation from start to completion of individual tramp and liner voyages (worldwide voyages in all trade lanes) inclusive of cargo deliveries, compliance with all international regulatory requirements, instructions to agents, coordination of stowage with port captains, ordering of bunkers, payment of proforma disbursements to agents, review and approval of final disbursement accounts from agents on a global basis, hire payments to owners, review of time charters, laycan and detention calculations, speed and fuel claims, documentation/manifests, freight invoicing-collections, insurance coverage, loss prevention and claims.  Attended loading and discharging operations of many vessels both domestically and internationally (working with all types of cargoes, dry, hazardous, reefers, heavy lift, coffee) (Brazil, Denmark, Chile, Canada).
