I am a board certified internal medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in private practice. Frustrated with the rushed pace of a traditional practice, I have recently established a concierge/boutique service that allows me to practice medicine with the commitment to limiting patient loads in order to ensure longer visits with adequate time and minimal wait periods. In addition, I am be available by phone and messaging to answer questions and concerns as promptly as possible. Home visits are also available when necessary. The reason I prefer the concierge approach to medicine is that it accommodates my desire spend more face time with patients. This allows me to get to know them and their conditions better. I am able to manage multiple conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, which often coexist in such patients. I have the ability to potentially do more preventive evaluation in higher risk patients as opposed to simply "treating the sick." My areas of interest include general internal medicine; endocrinologic disorders such as diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction (hyperthyroid and hypothyroid), hyperparathyroid; rheumatologic disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, gout); and cardiac disorders such as atrial fibrillation (medical management/antiarrhthymics), hypertension, hyperlipidemia.
