My experience at Rouses Markets has allowed me to work across all HR functions, from recruiting and onboarding to training, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. This, coupled with strong communication skills at all levels, helps me in my role today as Vice President of Human Resources. My main focus is on nurturing talent, fostering a robust organizational culture, and creating a collaborative and engaging work environment. With an impressive 63 locations (and more in the works) and a dedicated team of 7,000 members serving customers across three states, Rouses Markets provides a dynamic platform for HR management. In my capacity, I oversee all facets of human resources, ensuring the well-being of our team members and their dependents. From recruitment and staffing to employee wellness, safety, compensation, benefits administration, and comprehensive training programs, our department is committed to empowering every individual within the organization. I am a member of a professional peer group of members of The National Grocers Association (NGA) members. The NGA represents the retail and wholesale grocers that comprise the independent sector of the food distribution industry. Outside of work, I'm a proud husband and father of two. Our family is completed by a lovable rescue dog named Pepper. I enjoy hunting, fishing, cooking, and, admittedly, watching too much sports.
