From my work experience so far I have found that what I enjoy doing most is analyzing data and working with stakeholders to ensure that business processes and information flows allow organizations to effectively operate. To me, the challenge is allowing information systems to work seamlessly with the people using them to improve efficiency. I relish the interaction with people across business functions to help understand what information is required and then helping bring information systems in line with the requirements of the end user. My work experience to date has allowed me to evaluate existing systems/processes to identify improvements driven by the changing business environment as well as developing new systems/processes for new needs. I am now looking for a new role that will allow me to develop my skills and provide a challenging environment that could possibly support ISEB certification.
