I am responsible for following up on claims. I research denials and establish communications between the payer and the medical center. I use the research found and send the claim to the correct department to make sure the medical center gets paid in a timely manner. I work to hit metrics and high numbers of claim turnover. I attend weekly and monthly meetings for my specific payer and work with my team to streamline the process of payment from the payer.
