Eye Associates of New Mexico is one of the largest ophthalmology medical group practices in the Southwest with over 40 doctors practicing in 15 locations across New Mexico. We operate 2 ambulatory surgery centers, 12 optical shops and provide eye care services for most ophthalmology sub-specialties.During my tenure at Eye Associates, we have grown the practice each year and have opened new medical clinics across the state. My team has implemented electronic health records, a diagnostic image management system, patient portal, enterprise practice management, web and social media properties, high speed data networks, virtual servers, thin client devices and have installed a variety of other enterprise and departmental applications. In addition to my role in practice administration, I have been directly involved in strategic planning, capital budgeting, practice marketing and consulting services. I also serve as the privacy / security officer for the practice.I enjoy the many challenges that health care and technology have provided me with during my time working at both an integrated delivery system comprised of a 235 bed hospital, health plan, medical clinics and a 300 doctor medical group as well as the large privately owned medical group practice where I currently work.Specialties: Information Technology, Strategic Planning, Consulting, Project Management, Operational and Capital Budgeting and HIPAA privacy and security.
