From a technical perspective I was instrumental in the effective delivery of numerous events around the globe, most notably BETT UK and Middle East, ITie Symposium, SLF(Scotland), Educatice/Intertice (Paris), World Didac (Basel), Worldidacta (Germany), Interpedagogica (Austria), Skolforum (Sweden), ISE (Amsterdam), IATEFL (Dublin), E-India,and various key events throughout Italy, Spain, Portugal and Tunisia. I also assisted peripherally at NECC 08 (Texas). Striving for improvements, I formed a framework for documenting ideas and methods for developing a more incisive, structured approach to delivering a successful exhibition. Along with a comprehensive demonstration stock inventory and an official feedback form, its aim to provide an efficient channel for reporting issues back into Product Management.

Established a new role acting as a support mechanism for both UK and International installation support, assisting both internal and external customers where necessary. I played an instrumental role in the design and roll-out of the audit and accreditation process for the EMEA Partner Services division. The ‘vision’ was to provide (for the first time) continuity in quality, service and delivery of reseller installations. Focusing predominantly on equipping new channel partners around the globe, sharing invaluable knowledge, experience and skills that underpin a first-class installation service in their relevant territories. Further support was identified and deployed according to their requirements in part or complete packages ranging from training, installation support and quality auditing. During this position I played a leading role in the orchestration of two prestigious installations on behalf of Sigma Vision at the British Council and the Ministry of Education in Rome.

• Responsible for managing an apprentice on a six-week, work experience placement. Starting with the basics of the installation procedure, with coaching his confidence grew and he was able to apply a broad selection of installation tools and techniques in a working environment.• Travelled overseas to Switzerland, Singapore and Rome, to work closely with newly established partners in each territory, installing specific systems and acting as a ambassador for Promethean• Assisting in the install of AV solutions in a variety of complex situations; installing plasma screens, PA systems, wireless projectors and complete video/web conferencing suites. This was a Freelance position mainly covering the NorthWest region, however on secondment I oversaw a network roll out upgrade in the Bristol area. Roles and responsibilities;• Installation, service and repair of TeleWest cable TV, Telco and Broadband Internet into customer’s premises within two main architectures SID and SBC. The job entailed cable routing, termination and box configuration at the customer’s premises, it also includes completing the cross connects within the street cabinets, checking for tolerances relating to SNR (signal to noise ratio), dB ratings and often cross modulation channels.
