Current- Increased single host throughput of company-wide authentication and authorization platform from 4400 TPS to 10,500 TPS by analyzing JVM profiler and servlet metrics to identify bottlenecks and Tomcat configuration optimizations, saving over $1.2M per year on compute.- Increased load testing capabilities from 11k TPS to 1M TPS by implementing a distributed load testing framework and integrating it with CI/CD.- Optimized client and server connection management to mitigate AWS Network Load Balancer connection limitations to enable vertical and horizontal scaling of company-wide distributed Auth system from 100k TPS to 3M+ TPS. These optimizations also decreased server TLS CPU footprint by 85% and client TLS CPU footprint by 50% at p50, saving Amazon an estimated $5M+ per year on compute. Designed, implemented, and executed a safe and incremental rollout using custom levers, metrics, and dashboards to reduce time to impact detection and mitigation.- Actively mentoring 2 engineers, 1 of which has been promoted from junior to mid-level. Answer both technical and career questions, providing guidance on troubleshooting and best practices.- Implemented symmetric key rotation rollback mechanism for company-wide authentication and authorization platform
