I began my time at Meritrust in an entry-level position and spent 6 years working with members. This experience helps me imagine the member experience from beginning-to-end so we can create effective tactics for customer acquisition, retention and high-quality resources like the CRM for our employees that serve them every step of the way. During my time at Meritrust, I earned my bachelor's degree and returned to school the following year to pursue a Master's degree. I had the privilege of continuing my employment while additionally working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant where I taught the most-despised required course in college curriculums - Comm 111: Public Speaking. Making the course tolerable was priority one until my second semester when the pandemic began and survival took precedence. Leading students with compassion, patience and the expectation something will go awry was the second-best learning experience next to being in graduate school.
