Responsible for partnering with business unit leaders to implement solutions that support alignment with organizational vision and goals as it relates to talent acquisition, training and development programs at all levels. Directly report to the Vice President and Chief Operations Officer and oversee operations supervisors, restaurant training managers and training restaurant locations for two franchise groups with over 15 locations. Job duties include: • Multi-unit management • Develop, implement and conduct corporate and franchise training for entry level to executive personnel.• Create and maintain company personnel handbooks and policy manuals. • Responsible for all company recruiting for hourly and management candidates and work closely with internet recruiters like Career Builder and Indeed. • Responsible for all new hire and internal management promotion background criminal history checks and drug testing• Maintain all management personnel files and vacation scheduling • Assure compliance with state and federal laws regarding EEOC, employment of minors, wage and hour laws, MIOSHA compliance and health department regulations. • Certified instructor/proctor for the National Restaurant Association ServSafe food safety program. • Extensive experience opening new facilities including recruiting, staffing and training as well as coordinating installation of security systems and production equipment with contractors and vendors. • Conduct security assessments and compliance audits • Conduct investigative and disciplinary interviews with hourly and management personnel• Work closely with law enforcement on internal and external criminal investigations. • Represent the company at worker’s compensation hearings• Contracted by other local franchises to conduct approved training for their hourly and management personnel• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint)
