Upon graduation, I successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant Exam. Like so many other accountants, I began my career in public accounting, working in the audit department of the Washington, DC office of Arthur Andersen.My marriage brought me to Baltimore where I worked as a Regional Controller at Integrated Health Services. In 1997, I received a tremendous opportunity to be the Controller of the venture-capital owned, Deerfield Healthcare, which at the time was the largest private-pay Adult Day Care company in the US. Deerfield Healthcare was sold to Active Day and I spent the next 10 years as the Director of Finance/Accounting for the Baltimore based nonprofit, Community Health Integrated Partnership. Seeking a new challenge, in 2013 I joined forces with Mid-Atlantic Recruiting as Director of Recruiting. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be able to get to do what I love every single day – using my more than 25 years’ experience in accounting to assist candidates and clients with their searches.
