I am an experienced and well-rounded sales and marketing leader with a proven background in new/existing business sales, branding, customer acquisition and relationship management.Trained in all aspects of sales, negotiations, client understanding, the buying process and used to working to strict deadlines and under pressure, this is where I truly excel. My job at DDA is to generate new and repeat sales and drive forward ideas for ways in which to take the business forward. I source new business leads and connections on a daily basis. I specialise in the sales of all aspects of website design, especially e-commerce design and development, brand marketing, graphic design, search engine optimisation, email marketing, corporate branding and so much more. I have continually over exceeded my sales target for 10 years in this role, and for 10 years in my previous role. I am a determined, motivated individual with a fantastic understanding of the sales/buying process as well as the customer experience. I spend time really getting to know my clients and what makes them tick. I use extensive questioning skills to really get a feel for their business, what their objectives are and what I can do to help them achieve them.I live and breathe sales, never switching off from a new opportunity to help businesses expand their digital presence and maximise their profits. My main purpose in this role was to generate new business and to raise the awareness of the company in a Business Development Managerial Role. Managing in excess of 300 community based websites, taking care of sales, content, promotions and staff - this was a role that focused heavily on promotions and social media communications. Through this role, I also arranged various events within the community in order to promote the services that Increase The Wedge offered. Working closely with local businesses and also people in the public eye it was my job to ensure the events ran smoothly as well as gaining them as much promotion as possible through working with local radio stations and local celebrities. One of the events I organised culminated with a competiton winner having the opportunity to sing live with the stars of the well known TV show, the X Factor. This massively increased public knowledge about the business and led to a massive increase in traffic to the community websites. I put together project plans and ideas for websites that we could launch, all of which were launched successfully and are still live today.

My role with Scottish Auto Trader was as a Sales Supervisor, to generate new and repeat business whilst Supervising a team of 14 people. I worked to strict targets on a weekly basis and always exceeded targets, leading me to gaining the award 'Sales Person of the Month' for 18 times out of a possible 24, this was against 13 other people. I specialised in sales, customer account managment, customer service, business retensions, call coaching, supervision of staff and event sales in this role.
