Starting my career at Dell (badge #244) for 7 years mostly in R&D, I was their 2nd ex-pat and worked 2 years in UK & Germany. After 2 years at Dallas Semiconductor (Now Maxim) growing a software VAR business from 0 to $30mm, I then went to Oracle, where I left as a Practice Director in the high technology manufacturing consulting group. The first company I started, ServiceLane, was funded by Austin Ventures, Fremont Ventures, and Silicon Valley Bank and sold to Owens Corning (NYSE: OC). I originated the idea and co-founded Annandale Capital with 2 other partners. Annandale is now a Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisory firm managing > $1.2b AUM in institutional and private client assets. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and was named by D Magazine as a Top 20 Internet Entrepreneur. I've been married for 34 years and very proud father of 3. A major foodie, in part from my travels to 32 countries and also living in 3. An avid golfer having played golf in 16 of those 32 and a Golfweek Rater.
