•Provide client services in management of construction projects for state, municipal and private clients.•Work with a team of project personnel for the inspection, documentation, quantity tracking and quality control and assurance services involved in completion of capital improvement projects including roadways, sanitary sewers, bridges, greenways, utility and various civil projects•Coordinate construction activities. Conduct and participate in progress meetings, utility coordination, complete payment applications, develop solutions from field and design determinations and confer with design staff on engineering solutions•Generate an estimation of resources and time required to provide services for the duration of construction activities

•Work with existing and prospective clients in providing answers to project issues and creating solutions to accomplish project goals•Provide design and construction services during the bidding and construction phases to ensure client and regulatory agency compliance and project completion of roadway and other municipal projects.•Develop roadway design plans and specifications including sanitary and storm sewer design, profiles, and cross-sections, write legal descriptions and exhibits for municipal client.•Site design plans including site layout, storm water and utility design, erosion control and site grading for commercial developments, municipal street department improvement projects and preliminary layouts for municipal site developments

• Work with a team of professional and technical staff in performing traffic studies including: Signal Warrant Analysis, Speed Studies, Trip Generation, Crash Data Analysis and review of Traffic Impact Studies for the 26 county area that TDOT's Region 3 services• Review and make recommendations for approval of driveway and grading permits, traffic control, signalization and construction plans.• Establish professional relationships with state representatives, city and county mayors, local municipalities and citizens to maintain the desired transportation system expected by each group. Confer with local agencies to ensure compliance of local regulations and develop solutions to meet goals of the local agency while maintaining State standards.• Field office work on TDOT construction projects. Construction inspection, testing and calculations.• Design office work at TDOT Headquarters. Plans and specifications development for future projects.

• Generate residential / commercial site designs – including profiles, cross-sections, grading plans, erosion control plans, street and lot layouts, utilities, intersection improvements, traffic control plans and specifications, develop Best Management Practice Reports and erosion control site evaluations.• Designs for storm water, sanitary sewer and detention ponds including profiles, layouts, watershed delineation, culvert sizing, structures and gutter flow calculations.• Conduct site planning and development, storm water management, hydraulic studies, develop grading plans and subdivision design.• Team member in performing topographical and boundary surveys with a registerd land surveyor and perform project layouts and construction staking.
