It was the wild west of internet days and I wanted to ride the wave. Sympatico was throwing money around. I caught some of it and was their General Manager for a while. The Buy and Sell had some of the highest internet traffic in BC. I was their internet specialist. I was talking to Canadian Tire and IBM. They were building out their website but not ready to push traffic yet. I went for higher ground.
