I oversee the Seniors vs. Crime office which is a joint project between the Citrus County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Attorney General's Office. We addresses issues affecting seniors of a non-criminal nature as well as conduct educational programs to help individuals avoid becoming a victim. In addition, I develop and implement programs to assist.

Investigate crimes against persons, such as homicide, robbery, battery and high value financial crimes.

Served as Chief of Police for a department of 32 employees serving a population of 8900 residents. Prepared the annual budget, developed operational plans and operating procedures for utilization by all personnel. Established the mission statement and ensured complaince with all directives.

Managed the day to day field operations of the police department. Assisted the Chief of Police in the preparation of the annual budget, conducted community presentations, developed plans and programs involving the deployment and operation of the police force. Functioned as the second-in-command to the Chief of Police.

Worked as a detective investigating crimes against persons or property occuring within the city limits.

Worked as a patrol officer responding to calls for service within the community and as a community policing officer developing plans to resolve issues affecting the quality of life for citizens within the City of Inverness.

Co-owner and operations manager for private security/private investigations firm. Managed work force of 16 officers and 3 investigators.

Served as an area supervisor, security response team leader, and security controller. Also while stationed at Andrews AFB in Washington D.C. I served as an Aircraft Security NCO on aircraft caring the Vice President of the U.S. and other government officials on their worldwide travels.
