Speech Communication As Critical Citizenship: This course addresses understanding and practicing speech communication as a central value of a civil society. It is this value that provides the frame for producing, presenting, interpreting, and evaluating oral messages in dyadic, small group, and public speaking contexts.

RISE Program (Returning & Incarcerated Student Education): The Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) RISE program manages the Associate Degree in Liberal Arts program inside the New Jersey Department of Corrections (NJDOC) facilities. Currently, we have active students in 6 different NJ prisons and correctional facilities, as well as a pilot education.
