My daily role consisted of:• Owning customer problems and escalations pertaining to technical support, operational issues, and accounts payable • Acted as a point of contact for our Spanish speaking customers to help resolve their customer service issuesProject Experience 1) Responsible for collection and analysis of Convoy’s NPS survey • Overhauled existing data tables to eliminate inconsistencies in historic campaigns 2) Automated 90% of the Zendesk ticket system 3) Set team metrics, establish goals, and track productivity • Used SQL in a Redshift database to fetch information, and then processed data into a consumable form for the team

Properati is an online platform for selling and renting houses with a business model based on the consumers desired amount of contacts per month rather than on online advertising and listings. Based in 8 countries throughout Central and South America, I worked in their second largest office in Buenos Aires on their Data Journalism team. New to data analysis, GIS, and web based programming, I took on a project that appealed to my international interests as well as aligned with the goals of Properati's blog. I web scraped census data from Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina using Python and then used GIS to determine where the story was in this data that Properati could use on their blog to provide their costumers with insight into housing markets. My greatest take away from this experience was owning my own project. I took this project from the idea to a full blown data visualization that was featured in online publications and newspapers in Mexico and Brazil. This experienced also challenge me to learn new coding software such as GIS, web scraping, and web design through explanations and resource in Spanish. It gave me the tools to effectively communicate with my coworkers and discuss complex softwares in a foreign language.

'​'Sage Corps is a selective experiential learning program that sends cohorts of top university students abroad to work with tech startups for between 8 and 12 weeks. Fellows will work alongside the startup's CEO on all aspects of the business, based on the company's needs. Day-to-day work may include the development of marketing materials, social media exploration, and where appropriate, accounting/finance work and web/mobile development. Students will also work with the CEO to develop a long-term project. Students may conduct market research, brainstorm alternative/improved business models, or create investor pitches. While in their host country, students will attend tech conferences, networking events, and a speaker series organized by Sage Corps and its local partners in the host country. Finally, each student will be matched up with a '​'Sage'​'​ - a successful young business leader in the United States, based on the student's intended career field. The Sages provide career advice to the participants, and where appropriate, provide potential job opportunities. During the program, Sage Corps Fellows (students) will learn to think globally, promote entrepreneurship, and develop an elite network.''

I lived with an Argentinian host family for 5 months of my senior year where I attend an air force military academy. I took 11 classes in Spanish including technology. I chose to study abroad in high school because I desired to delve into a culture in a more in-depth experience rather than being a tourist and only being exposed to the surface layers. My motivation for choosing Argentina was based on exploring an entirely new environment and since I had never been to South America this was a perfect option. As well as my desire to learn Spanish.
