Chief Mate on a 71.5 meter academic oceanographic research vessel conducting seismic surveys of Shatsky's Rise and Pacific Line Islands.Provided daily work lists for 5 unlicensed personnel for vessel maintenance and project management. Deconflicted with engineering and science departments as needed. Provided crew training on STCW related topics.

M/V Maunalei

Operated 625-ft CV2500 class container ship from Long Beach, California to Honolulu, Guam, Xiamen, Ningbo and Shanghai before returning to Long Beach, California. Conducted cargo watches and inspections of ship safety equipment.

Single Hopper Dredge ATCHAFALAYA Mate responsible for the safe navigation and operation of 197' twin Z-drive ship during the Longboat Key (FL) North End Beach Renourishment Project.Supervised 2 AB/Dragtenders and interfaced with third-party turtle observer in course of operations.
