Lee Fisher serves as Dean of Cleveland State University College of Law (CSU|LAW). He became Dean on July 1, 2017. Lee served as President/CEO of CEOs for Cities from 2011-2017. CEOs for Cities was a national network of cross-sector, cross-generation urban leaders focused on making American cities more connected, innovative, talented, and distinctive. CEOs for Cities merged with Forward Cities in 2018 and Lee serves on the National Advisory Board.Lee Fisher's career has spanned the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Lee has 18 years of public service, serving as Ohio Lt. Governor, Director of the Ohio Department of Development (“ODOD”), Chair of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission, Ohio Attorney General (“OAG”), State Senator, and State Representative. Lee has worked as a federal appellate law clerk, private attorney, public and private company board director, law school instructor, television and radio commentator, and as the President/CEO of the Center for Families and Children.Lee is a graduate of Oberlin College and served on its Board for 12 years. He earned his Law Degree and Executive Master of Nonprofit Organization degree from Case Western Reserve University and served as a Case Presidential Fellow.Lee is a graduate of Harvard’s Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government where he was a Chase Public Leadership Fellow; the Center for Creative Leadership’s Leadership at the Peak program; the Case Weatherhead School of Management’s Professional Fellows Program, and Leadership Cleveland.
