• Based on-site at the Intel plant in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
• BIM detailer responsible for 3D modelling of subfab pipe work for tools in Fab 24; a 300mm wafer manufacturing plant.
• Pipe processes included drains, waste lines, exhaust lines, high & low-purity gases, large duct pipes among others, all at varying specifications.
• Involved producing 3D construction models from base information such as P&IDs, facility models and scan cloud data.
• Modelling of support & clamping assemblies for all pipe work.
• Running extensive clash detection scans of all models to minimise on-site problems.

Greenore, County Louth, Ireland

• Member of the design team, principally responsible for the 3D modelling of parts & assemblies including turbine components, large marine structures, auxiliary parts and tooling using Solidworks.
• Engineering drawing output & DXF files for fabrication, ensuring all output was in compliance with the Openhydro Quality Management System.
• Designing for manufacture & assembly.
• Online sourcing of parts such as clamps and drag chains from various suppliers.
• Engineering Change Notice (ECN) creation for circulation within the company.
• Collaboration with Design Engineers, which provided insight into the design process.

Dublin Mail Centre

Operation and general maintenance of various types of mail-sorting machinery. Manual sorting of mail which required extensive knowledge of national addresses, locations and postal delivery routes. Loading and unloading of delivery trucks. Heavy emphasis placed on quality control and accuracy.

Involved many key aspects of warehouse operations including; collection and execution of assembly line orders, machine operation, replenishing stock, computerised inventory evaluations & inquiries, stock-taking, and despatch. Was eventually appointed a bulk orders position which involved working independently for entire shifts.
