In 12 months grew the social enterprise to 200 active members and played leading role in six initiatives the organisation undertook, partnering with City Council, NGO’s and private sector to solve City developmental needs. Enactus Plymouth received national media coverage and was awarded endorsement from the Head of the City Council and Head of CSR for HSBC. It was successful in 11 bids for funding which made possible the opening of a cafe and the role out of a city wide quantitative attitudinal study.

This strategy increased event attendance by +50% at every event marketed and was responsible for a 250% increase at our largest event (2,500 people); capture of consumer attendance data for first time; and reduction in marketing & staff costs.Persuading a variety of businesses to participate in events at the University; liaising with clients to ensure their requirements met; evaluating events and campaigns to ensure continuous improvement of events and client experience.Disrupted the current model of student employability events by designing 'Showcases' which bought together industry experts from across the country (for example the Arts Showcase bought together magazine editors, architects, authors and film producers) for a day long collaboration event which attracted over 750 guests.
