I oversee a team of mobile engineers and administration staff in central London. We carry out planned maintenance, reactive call outs and project work on all heating, air conditioning and industrial process equipment. I am client facing and have built up strong relationships with many clients as well as consultants, property managers and FM companies.Work duties:•Managing the engineering team and service department personnel effectively to ensure productivity and efficiency.•Client communications, verbal or written to ensure a prompt and efficient service delivery.•Process client purchase orders, allocate and distribute resource as required.•The day to day management of health and safety to ensure company compliance and allocation of all associated paperwork and resources as required.•Liaising with clients and consultants on site projects and maintenance contracts.•Time management for projects, contract start dates and to ensure that completion dates are met. •Carrying out quotations for remedial works through to full boiler room installations.•Management of sub-contractors on a day to day basis. •Overall responsibility for the administration of the service department. •Overall responsibility to ensure that all paperwork, forms and logs are complete in line with current legislation. •Generating invoices from the service software system on completion of the work.•Supporting field engineers with technical backup.•Engineering staff vehicle management.

•As senior engineer I oversaw the project works for boiler installations and this then lead into me being office based for 2 days per week, where I was responsible for carrying out quotations from remedial works to boiler installation and ensuring that method statements and risk assessments were in place and adhered to and that the projects were turned out on time and within budget.•As the senior engineer I worked on all types of boilers, burners and heating equipment carrying out servicing, reactive call outs and installations as well as large testing and purging projects. I was gas safe registered and held the follow certificates;-•CDGA1- Commissioning, service, repair & breakdown of direct fired heating appliances•CIGA1- Install, commission, service, repair of indirect heating appliances•ICAE1- Install 1st fix commercial appliances•CCN1- Domestic Core Safety•CODNCO1- Changeover domestic to Commercial Core Safety•TPCP1- Testing & Purging commercial pipework to IGE/UP/1•CBHP1- Commercial gas boosters, Compressors, controls & high pressure pipework•CEN1- Boilers up to 70Kw•CPA1- Gas analyser

•I join the company as an apprentice electrical engineer where I was responsible for the building of control panels and the wiring of the process equipment that we manufactured. I then headed the electrical department where I was responsible for making sure the equipment was manufactured and fully tested ready for shipping. I was also involved in the designing of the process equipment and and implementing new techniques for controlling the equipment we manufactured. This then lead on to me becoming a field engineer where I travelled across the United Kingdom, Europe and as far as South Korea and South Africa carrying out commissioning, training, servicing and repairs of the process equipment.
