Senior Network Engineer
CurrentRisk Assessment and Vulnerability Scanning for the network environment. Controlled Penetration testing against production and testing equipment and providing analysis of those finding to the rest of the team for recommendations for hardening these devices and sections of the network.•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data and telecom network related devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and network security devices to implement strong protocols and establish effective measures within the system.•Manage Checkpoint & Cisco Firewalls, Hot Site failover connectivity, through tests and evaluation of data and network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements that enable systems to run seamlessly.•Evaluate and maintain wireless networks providing installation of new systems and upkeep of existing systems. Configuration and administration of Cisco ISE.•Maintain the active Directory, IP networking including DHCP, DNS, VPN, and other remote access.•Assist with technical support for internal and external customers providing afterhours support of data and phone networks.•Ordered primary/backup circuits, network racks, patch panels, etc. to build the system in to specifications desired by the company.•Coordinate technical and administrative needs in support of installation and maintenance of KUA access equipment, routers, telephone lines, and fiber communication equipment.•Provide input on issues relating to firewall/security and DNS strategies for safely providing Internet service to KUA.•Troubleshoot digital recording systems and call routing queues for customer service operations.•Work with the team to develop strategies for home connectivity and resolve any issues and equality providing resources and services to remote workers.•Recommend policies and procedures to upper management for the coordination and structure of all network related services.
