As Head of CM for ManpowerGroup UK and Ireland, my remit included responsibility for all client and supplier contractual matters.In addition, the following functions reported directly into me: - legal and contracts- procurement- corporate risks including insurance renewals, policies and claims - compliance- H&S, and - Data PrivacyI was a pension trustee for 7 years and a member of the UK Group Leadership Team as well as being project owner and sponsor on various company matters during my tenure including but not limited to productivity, business strategy, IR35, umbrella companies, fleet management, coaching and many others

Southern Counties

Responsible for Commercial Management of civil engineering projects, both on an individual project basis and also on a regional basis. Starting as Intermediate QS on the Maidstone bypass, I became Project Surveyor on this a year later and led complex claims negotiations with the County Council.In 1996, I oversaw the completion of the Woolwich Pumping Station contract and in 1998 was promoted to Regional QS for the Southern region, which involved the management of concurrent projects with a team of surveyors reporting into me. In 2001, I became Project Surveyor of the CTRL link in East London overeeing a team of 8 surveyors.

South East

Commencing during my work year as a Student QS, I returned following graduation, and sponsorship by the company, to work on a number of high intensity motorway reconstruction projects. This adrenaline based working approach allowed me to be able to work in pressurised situations whilst maintaining a diligent and output based approach. I thoroughly enjoyed the collaborative team approach to design and problem solving.In 1992, I was given the opportunity of being Project QS on a variety of projects including A road improvements; bridge refurbishment and motorway improvements.
